In summary, the XB-D LEDs usher in a new era of price and performance for lighting-class LEDs. The XB-D LEDs double the lumens per dollar, delivering up to 139 lumens per watt at 1 W, 85° C , and 6000 K. These LEDs are based on Cree’s unique silicon carbide LED technology.  Their small footprint and high lumen density enables dramatic reductions in system cost in several important application areas including A19 lamps and PAR applications. The XB-D has all of the characteristics and features lighting engineers have come to expect from the XLamp family of products including a full array of color temperatures.
