The TMC5062 provides a lot of registers, but only a few registers need to be initialized in order to configure the driver and to start the motor running. The user can refer to the evaluation board, TMC5062-EVAL, to allow a quick start with the device, and in order to allow interactive tuning of the device setup in the application. This  will guide the user through the process of correctly setting up all registers. The example on this slide shows a minimum set of accesses allowing moving a motor.
