SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3000 Slide 9
End customers do not always know how much memory their end design will require when they select their Wi-Fi component. Since low-cost, small-size designs are impacted by MCU memory footprint, TI has designed the new and improved CC3000 to require even less host memory. The CC3000 can now be used with low cost MCUs like the MSP430 value line, by requiring only 2 kB of Flash and 250 Bytes of RAM for the CC3000 driver. The code size depends on the APIs the customer uses and the amount of RAM is contingent on the size of the largest packet that is sent and received.
