Data converters are the interface between analog and digital circuits. They are described by performance parameters and precision parameters. The performance parameters are determined by the sampling frequency and resolution. While, precision parameters are generally categorized in two ways: DC accuracy and dynamic performance. The DC accuracy specifications include DNL, INL, Offset Error, and Gain Error. The dynamic performance is categorized with SNR, THD, ENOB, and SFDR.
