With this product line expansion Signal Transformer offers a broad SMD power inductor product offerings with over 2700 standard power inductor part numbers. These 2700 part numbers can be classified into two categories: open frame or un-shielded style, typically lower cost SMD inductors with over seventy different product series available and the low EMI or shielded product type having over eighty different series in a variety of foot-prints and package heights. The standard package styles begin at 1mm in height; some have a current capacity of 70A, others a DC resistance as low as 2mΩ and many reaching 10mH in inductance value. Signal Transformer also offers dual winding and toroidal construction designs rounding out the standard product offering in power inductor solutions. The “SC” series of SMD power inductors are rugged by design, constructed in robust, economic, high performance packages, ideal for demanding and challenging applications in commercial and consumer products.
