There are versions at 850 nm and at 940 nm with multiple options on field of view starting at values as low as 3°. This is possible due to the high quality manufacturing process at ams OSRAM. Remember, these parts have copper leadframes, and therefore the leads can be bent without easily breaking. This makes the product much more reliable altogether.
