Shown here is an overview for the designation codes for the current offering of SYNIOS Packages that will be expanded in the near future. The SYNIOS package is the smallest package for IR illumination beyond 1 W optical output. The devices including an orange cross have a version which is qualified with a test plan based on automotive grade standards. If the customer is making a design that is ultimately going to be used in an automotive application, one may want to focus solely on those products or contact ams OSRAM if one does not find a device that meets the customer's criteria.
