This slide shows the common mode choke lineup for automotive applications. Two types of automotive-grade products are available: powertrain/safety grade (also known as powertrain/safety) and infotainment grade. Powertrain/safety grade parts are AEC-Q200 certified and can be used in safety-critical circuits. The parts in the G1 grade are shown in the red box here. The parts outside of the red box are infotainment grade parts. Infotainment grade parts are AEC-Q200 compliant and can be used in non-safety critical circuits like car entertainment systems. Automotive interfaces like CAN and Ethernet require strict noise regulations, so common mode chokes are often required.
