This slide shows some proposed EMI solutions to counter the noise problems. The first solution is for conducted emission. By inserting a low pass filter near the power connector, noise from all frequencies can be suppressed. LQH5BP and GCM188 are two recommended parts. The second solution is for radiated emission. For noise frequencies lower than 20 MHz, one solution would be adding an outer shield to the PCB. For noise frequencies over 20 MHz, inserting a common mode choke or low pass filter near the power inductor can help counter the noise problems. PLT5BPH is the recommended common mode choke. The circuit diagram identifies the locations for inserting the LPF/CMCC.
