In order to measure higher frequencies, the engineer modified the testing configuration for the radiated emission from 30 to 300 MHz. The setup is based on CISPR25. The frequency-noise level graph on the right shows the initial test results of the board. Noise floor is represented in black, and CISPR25 Class 5 specification is represented by the horizontal purple lines. The blue spectrum is the initial noise measured. As seen, the noise interval is 400 kHz which is the same as the switching frequency of the DC/DC converter. Using the CISPR25 standard, the amount of noise being radiated also exceeds the standard.
