Product List
For general purpose PIC18 J Series products, there are a few options to choose from depending on budget and peripheral requirements. The PIC18 Starter Kit is a great, low cost way to evaluate the features of the PIC18 family. This board features the PIC18F46J50 and functions as a USB mouse, joystick or mass storage device, all using the on-board capacitive touch sense pads. It includes a MicroSD™ memory card, potentiometer, acceleration sensor, and OLED display. This device is completely USB-powered and includes on-board debugging/programming. The next option is the PIC18 Explorer Board that features the PIC18F8722 and PIC18F87J11 MCUs. This board provides additional flexibility to expand to other processor families with plug-in modules or PIMs. The PIC18 Explorer board also has a PICtail™ daughter board connector which allows connection to standard expansion boards such as Ethernet, speech playback, and many more. This board requires a separate programmer or debugger such as the ICD3 or Real ICE. If the user does not already have a programmer or debugger, the PIC18 Development Kit includes the PIC18 Explorer, PICkit 3 programmer/debugger, USB cable and the 9V universal power supply all in one bundle.
