The GUI tool enables the system designer to configure the 6EDL7141 parameters from a computer. The GUI is available to download from the Infineon Toolbox at www.infineon.com/toolbox. Simply connect the computer to the target board via a debugger and then select the type of system configuration in which the 6EDL7141 is being used. The designer can choose either trapezoidal or field-oriented control with one or three current shunts. The GUI also provides options for configuring the system parameters, the microcontroller firmware, and the 6EDL7141 parameters. As can be seen, the GUI offers a convenient and easy-to-use tool for bench verification of any 6EDL7141-based motor drive system.
