Flexis QE Series Low Power Features Slide 11
The unique flexibility to turn peripheral clocks on and off is demonstrated by measuring the current on a ColdFire V1 QE128 device. The first measurement shows that the current is only 11.44 mA in Run mode with the CPU running at 8 MHz and the internal supply fully regulated. The other two measurements demonstrate the Stop modes with all modules disabled. NXP’s stop modes are defined as system clocks stopped and voltage regulator in standby. Stop3 only uses 0.6 µA of current with all internal circuits powered for fast recovery. Stop2 demonstrates the ultra low 0.4 µA current draw with a partial power down of the internal circuits and RAM contents retained.
