Once the user is familiar with the configuration of the capacitive button parameters using EZ-click, they can easily prototype their solution using the CY3280-MBR3 evaluation kit. The steps are: connect the CY8C3280-MBR3 evaluation kit to the PC; open the EZ-Click software to configure capacitive button parameters; assign the LED control signals to turn the button LEDs ON or OFF; test SmartSense auto-tuning performance by varying the parasitic capacitance and overlay thickness; and prototype the design using the expansion connectors. It is recommended that the designer also watches the demo video.
