CapSense mechanical button replacement (MBR) is Cypress’ register-configurable solution to upgrade mechanical buttons to capacitive buttons. It requires minimal engineering effort to configure capacitive button parameters and does not require firmware development. EZ-Click™ is a PC-based software tool that is used for the initial configuration (design) of CapSense MBR solutions. It enables the user to select the number of CapSense buttons, sliders, proximity sensors and GPOs, and enables the user to configure capacitive button parameters without firmware development.
