Product List
Intel® MAX® 10 is the first single-chip FPGA to combine non-volatile, instant on capabilities along with dual-configuration support. Not only does that save one chip on the board, dual configuration FLASH ensures fail-safe field-upgrades as well. As shown here, there are a lot of functions integrated into this FPGA. The device supports embedded processors, allowing customers to integrate a soft, Nios® II processor core into the FPGA. The device also features two analog blocks, to allow the FPGA to interface with the outside world, obviating the need for external ADCs on the motor power board. There is also embedded RAM and DSP, as well as available soft memory controller IP. With these integrated functions, all the standard benefits of FPGAs that have been talked about and the mid-range friendly price-point of the MAX®10 FPGA makes it an ideal vehicle for mid-range but high-performance motor control, leveraging Intel®’s proven Drive-on-Chip design.
