The highly controlled platinum thin film manufacturing process of the PTS AT assures exceptional stability of temperature characteristics resulting in long term reliable operation even under harsh environments. The table here outlines the AEC-Q200 test standard, conditions of each test, and the resulting R₀ drift requirements for PTS AT. The maximum resistance drift specification for the PTS AT is ≤±0.5%. This worst case drift can be attributed to applications with extreme thermal cycling and humidity. For most applications, the typical performance is much better than the maximum specified stability (average drift characteristics outlined next).
