The PTS AT temperature sensor offers many advantages compared to other passive temperature sensors. A highly controlled platinum thin film manufacturing process serves as the foundation for one of the most important features which is the outstanding stability of resistance versus temperature characteristic. The excellent stability of the PTS AT sensor, coupled with an industry first AEC-Q200 qualification rating, ensures reliable operation even in the harshest of environments. This includes an enhanced performance in thermal cycling situations and full operation in an expanded temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The PTS AT has short reaction times less than 1 second in air (package size dependent). The standard PTS AT is available in F0.3 and F0.6 tolerance classes. As a custom option, the PTS AT can be produced in F0.15 tolerance class. With it’s pure tin on nickel terminations, the PTS AT has a proven immunity against tin whisker growth as demonstrated through extensive testing. The PTS AT makes for an exceptional sensor option in a variety of different applications across market segments.
