When the voltage of the exposed NTC sensor, shown here by the red curves (initially higher biased), starts becoming lower than the voltage of the protected NTC sensor, shown by the blue curves, the Op-Amp switches and the thyristor is turned on (“activating an alarm”). The switching time can be measured and then be recovered in the LT SPICE error log, along with many other customer specific measurements.
