Product List
The first release from the TI family of 100 V synchronous buck converters is the LM5017, and at 600 mA it is the highest power member of the family. Some of the key features are: a wide 9 V to 100 V input range; integrated FETs, saving PCB space and making the design easier; constant on-time control, requiring no loop compensation and fewer external components; integrated UVLO; adjustable switching frequency up to 1 MHz; and a smaller solution size in a PSOP-8 and LLP-8 package. LLP is very similar to QFN, for those more familiar with the latter. Another key feature of these parts is that they operate in continuous conduction mode, which means that they can be used as an isolated supply with a transformer or a coupled inductor.
