Tyco Electronics offers a complete SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) product line, including single port and higher density multi-port SFP cages in single row and stacked configurations.  Stacked (or 2-row) cages use press-fit technology and the connector is integrated in the cage assembly for one-step processing.  SFP uses a 20-position host board connector.  Both passive and active SFP copper cables are available.  These cables are cost effective solutions for short reach applications.  Tyco Electronics also offers options to meet application needs, including integrated lightpipes for port indicators, enhanced EMI springs for increased EMI suppression, and riding heatsink technology for thermal management.
