How to Easily Design a Stepper Motor Slide 20

Thanks to the SPI, the devices can be put in a daisy chain configuration. This is very useful in the cases such as to limit the number of pins required from the microcontroller, only one CS is used; and to synchronize motors. If several motors must perform some tasks simultaneously, thanks to the daisy chain, when the CS is released all the motors will perform the command at the same time. Daisy chaining can be performed with all the L647x family, and combinations of an X number of L6470 can be put in daisy chain with y number of L6474 and z number of L6472.
