The Precision32 family provides a highly configurable analog. It has two ADCs with multiple modes including interleaving mode to achieve up to 2 MSPS, programmable auto scan to cycle through ADC channels without CPU intervention, burst mode to automatically sample and average up to sixty-four samples. The analog comparators have four different modes including a low power mode (400 nA) and high performance mode (150 ns response time), as well as an internal 6-bit DAC to provide sixty-four levels of comparison. The two 10-bit DACs have a circular buffer to enable a 12-bit mode. All the analog components are tested and guaranteed across temperate and voltage. Most competitors’ analog circuits do not work at, or are degraded below 2.4 V. Many competitors do not even test their analog in production. With up to twenty-eight ADC channels to choose from, an analog input is always close, simplifying layout and reducing noise introduced from long traces.
