Accelerometer-Slide6

Sensitivity is a measure of the output change per unit of input acceleration and is usually measured as mV/g or counts/g. Resolution is the minimum detectible change in acceleration. To be detectible, that signal must be greater than the noise of the sensor. This is important in low-level signal applications where small user movements need to be detected and processed. Kionix provides a variety of resolutions that are user selectable, based on application requirements.
