The left-hand side of this slide shows the mainstream RL78 MCU general purpose offering: RL78/G10, G11, G12, G13 and G14. This block diagram highlights the RL78/G11. A few of the highlights in the G11 MCU with 10 to 25 pins: G11 features fast wake time, <4µs using fMH (middle speed) 4MHz oscillator, which also enables a special low power mode running the CPU at 1MHz and drawing just 124µA. The G11 has an ability to nimbly change between low voltage, low power, low speed and high-speed modes dynamically. The G11 has rich analog features in a small pin count package, including 11 channels of ADC, a DAC, 2 comparators, and one Programmable Gain Amp.
