First up is performance. Even for RX100-series devices, Renesas strives to provide high performance. This chart shows the performance comparison with products of similar frequency. With their current RX130, Renesas already outperforms the devices from Competitor A and  Competitor B at 32 MHz, with better CoreMark and CoreMark/MHz scores. While Competitor C operates at a faster clock rate of 64 MHz, Renesas’ RX140 at 48 MHz still easily beats their performance, with a 28% better CoreMark score. More dramatically, the RX140 doubles the CoreMark/MHz score from 2.2 to 4.3.
