The RX140 is developed to address two key factors – cost and power consumption – for touch sensor applications. In addition to inheriting the power consumption of the RX100 series, the RX140 managed to reduce power consumption further achieving the low energy consumption. The RX140 has high performance at 5 V operation, equivalent to that of the RX200 series, and is able to reduce active and standby power and cost. Also, it can support a wide range of operating voltages suitable for various applications. In addition to the features in touch sensing, RX140 also enables pin multi-functionality to increase the number of functions used in the pins. Also, RX140 has maintained pin compatibility with previous RX MCUs, enabling existing users to easily migrate to the RX140.
