The Serial GPIO module is available today in the LPC4300 series microcontrollers. The table shown here provides an overview of the configured feature set of NXP’s Cortex-M4F products. Features are scaled according to the targeted applications and the available I/O for each series. The LPC4300 series is provided with package options from 144-pin QFP to 256-pin BGA. The LPC4000 series includes packaging options from 80-pin QFP to 208-pin BGA. Both series include a full external memory controller supporting up to 32-bit wide SRAM, SDRAM, and parallel NOR flash. The SPIFI interface provides memory-mapped accessibility to quad-SPI flash devices. LPC4300 also includes two independent USB interfaces with on-chip Low-Speed PHY as well as an industry-first Hi-Speed USB PHY. Reuse of common peripheral modules allows software engineers to migrate between products easily, providing scalability to the end application.
