Product List
The SSL3252 is a 400 mA dual LED flash driver that is capable of driving one or two LEDs in series up to 400mA in flash mode, 160mA in torch mode, and 10mA for video or status indication. Based on a high-side, synchronous boost converter architecture, hence no external diode, the device integrates current setting resistors to reduce pin-count to a 12-pin chip scale package and is programmed via the popular I2C-bus. The total solution size is 23.75 mm2. In addition to being compact, the high-side drive allows the LED cathode to be connected to the PCB ground to provide better power dissipation than traditional low-side drive architectures.
