Product List
The NXP LED Flash controllers integrate a flash mode for alert, touch mode for steady indication and a separate 20-mA LED indicator output. The flash mode allows the main LED to be run at a high current setting for a short period of time. The flash mode current can be set up to 500 mA. The torch mode allows the main LED to be switched on, without timing limitations, at a lower LED current setting. The torch mode current in the main LED can be set between 50 mA and 200 mA. The indicator LED is connected between the VBAT and the dedicated indicator LED current input pin. Internally a linear current sink controls the indicator LED current to reach the required current level. Additionally, the NXP devices provide high efficiency across the full supply voltage range and maximum light output for maximum light alert visibility.
