The Memory Accelerator Module works on a CMOS 18 Flash process, which is 128-bit-wide Flash. One fetch reads four 32-bit ARM words or eight 16-bit Thumb words at a time. There are further performance increases by having a Prefetch Buffer, a Data Bypass Buffer, and a Branch Trail Buffer.
