This slide will demonstrate using QuickTime to create still images from video for the IS-DEV Kit-7. Open QuickTime and select open file from the file drop down menu in the menu bar. Once this is done, a video window will pop up. In the video window go to window located on the menu bar of the video window and click show movie property. A new window will open up, click video track, then visual setting and change the scale size to 64 x 48. Once this has been completed, go back to the top menu bar of the video window and click on file, then select export. The next step is to select the folder for the image to be saved in. Name the file then go to export located towards the bottom of the window and select movie to image sequence from the drop down menu. Then, go to use and select BMP, 25 fps from the drop down menu then click save. Once the portion of the image to display on the SmartSwitch has been selected, it’s time to crop the image. Remember, to display a full image on the OLED device the aspect ratio should be 4 to 3.
