Configurable and Combination Logic solutions are two different types of solutions, but both are the next step of evolution for Logic solutions designed for those challenging system implementations. Configurable Logic integrates multiple standard logic functions into one package. With a configurable logic solution, the design engineer selects which logic function to implement by changing which pins are tied to GND, VCC, or selected as the input/output for the device. With a Combination Logic solution, Nexperia has integrated two or more dissimilar functions into one package. The integration of logic functions can include cascaded logic functions, or independent logic functions of different functional types tuned to the specific needs of the application.
