A major transportation carrier company had the challenge of changing from simple status indication with LEDs for their refrigeration vehicles, to a more complex graphic display that would still function under the most strenuous outdoor temperature conditions. They wanted much more detailed, real-time information conveyed to the driver to ensure the integrity of the shipment and to give more accurate alerts when the shipment was potentially in jeopardy. Lumex was tasked as one of five display companies from around the world to assist in the design of this unique type of LCD module.
