Product List
Since the most common entry point of ESD pulses are connector interfaces, designers are tasked with preventing ESD pulses from reaching the integrated circuits at those sites. Due to cost, size requirements, and effectiveness, Multilayer ceramic capacitors, or MLCCs are the primary choice of ESD protection at connector interfaces. A good ESD solution will suppress the ESD pulse below the integrated circuit's maximum ESD requirements, have a negligible impact on data lines, and take up as little space as possible on the circuit board.
