The ISL8203M is an analog power module. It supports an input voltage range of 2.85V to 6V with an adjustable output range from 0.8V to 5V. The configuration options are either dual 3A outputs, or connect the outputs together for a single 6 A output. The ISL8203M is an ideal choice for embedded systems where low voltage rails and high currents are required, such as in FPGA, ASIC and microprocessor-based systems. A closer look reveals some of the features of the ISL8203M. It features dual enable pins for output sequencing of the outputs along with separate powergood (PGOOD) pins. This allows power sequencing between the outputs if needed. The output voltage can also be adjusted through a simple resistor divider network.
