Infineon’s PSoC^™ 6 MCUs are designed with battery-operated IoT applications in mind by addressing the needs of long battery life, data processing, and security. The PSoC 6 portfolio bridges the gap between application processors and standard microcontrollers. With low power capabilities, PSoC 6 MCUs enable battery powered applications that expensive, high-powered application processors cannot address, while adding additional processing capability over a low-end microcontroller. The PSoC 6 is designed in low-power 40nm technology that consumes as little as 22μA/MHz in active power mode. It offers excellent Wi-Fi connectivity options enabled with ModusToolbox^™ and cloud services support like Amazon Web Services, along with integrated, hardware-based Secure Execution Environment with secure data storage.
