Shown here is a list of the advantages of HYPERRAM^™ vs competing solutions of ADMUX pSRAM and SDR DRAM (which are typically the existing options in the 64Mb to 512Mb range). The graph on the right shows the map of throughput vs number of pins required. It can be seen that for any given throughput, HYPERRAM devices require only a third of the pins to achieve comparable performance as the competing alternatives. In these charts the customer can see that HYPERRAM clearly offers an expansion memory solution that is optimized for power consumption and performance in a small form factor.
