The HYPERBUS^™ interface currently enjoys the support of a wide network of chipset, FPGA, and IP vendors with whom Infineon has worked with over the years. Popular chipset families that support the HYPERBUS/Octal xSPI interface are Infineon’s Traveo, FM4, and Aurix families and popular MCU families from NXP and ST Micro. Chipset partners either develop their own HYPERBUS memory controller or rely on a third-party IP provider (such as Cadence or Synopsys) for HYPERBUS IP.
