Product List
With the MC1321x series of devices, NXP has combined the second generation transceivers and the HCS08GT microcontroller into a single package, thereby reducing system component count for node implementation. The system in a package, or SiP, solutions are software compatible with the first and second generation of transceivers. The series can support point-to-point, star, cluster-tree, and mesh networks. Devices are offered in 16Kb, 32Kb, and 60Kb memory configurations. Multiple low power transceiver modes are offered: Off, Hibernate (1µA), Doze (3µA), and Idle (40µA). Also, they are coupled with multiple low power microcontroller modes. These features help manage power and maximize battery life. The transceivers provide up to -92dBm sensitivity with a power output of -27dBm to +4dBm with access to up to 39 GPIO pins. The combination of peripherals includes an 8-channel, 10-bit analog to digital converter, 9 timers, 2 SCI, I²C, low voltage interrupt, internal clock generation and computer operating properly or watchdog timer. The operating voltage ranges from 2.0V to 3.4V. Operating temperature range is from -40 to +80˚C. The 9 x 9 x 1mm 32-pin QFN package is also optimized for space conscious applications, particularly with the MCU and transceiver in a single package. Inventory count and costs can be decreased with the system in a package solution.
