Product List
This slide shows a high-level competitive landscape of the i.MX 6 Series. The chart describes the competitor strengths and the i.MX 6 strengths. NXP has a broad portfolio to service the embedded market. The other unique strengths against all the competitors for i.MX 6 are: 64-bit memory bus, integrated power management and triple play graphics (three separate graphics engines on the higher-end devices). Competitor N has a focus on smartphones and tablets which drives a very aggressive SoC cadence for them. NXP strengths are embedded leadership across multiple markets, providing proven architectures, scalability, broad portfolio and unique integration (64mB memory, PMIC and triple play graphics). Competitor T focuses in a few markets but does not enable the OMAP4/5 for the mass market, whereas the i.MX 6 has a broad industrial focus and unique integration. Competitor M has a strong China presence and focus on custom designs. Again, NXP’s embedded leadership and unique integration provides an advantage.
