These figures compare the 200V, 3A EPC2012 with the prior generation EPC1012 typical output and transfer characteristics. Consistent with the parts discussed previously, the new generation 200V product also performs significantly better at higher currents. The VGS necessary for significant conduction current has also increased, thereby reducing turn off time and increasing dv/dt immunity. The EPC2012 is also rated for 15A maximum ID (pulsed) compared with on 12A in the prior generation.
