The above parameters shown here are a rule of thumb for determining end of life of a supercapacitor based on capacitance and ESR. With an average temperature of <40°C and maximum temperature of <70°C, capacitance will change -30% and ESR will increase 100%. With average temperature of >40°C and long term exposure to high temperatures and >10 year operating life, then capacitance will change -50% and ESR will be 200% higher of initial value.
