MAXC-10-FPGA-Overview Slide 10
Since all designs might not need all the functionality available within the MAX® 10 family, Intel® has created the ability to only order what special features the customers design really needs. There are three feature set options in the family one can choose from, denoted with the letters C, F, and A. With a “C” class device, the customer will get all the device resources and can store a single configuration image within the device. With an “F” class device, the customer gain the extra feature to store two configuration images in the device giving one a single-chip dual configuration image solution with remote system upgrade capability. This integrated dual configuration capability is an industry first for Intel®. Finally, with an “A” class device, the customer will get all of the above, plus the analog block. If the customer does not need the dual-configuration image support or analog block features, order the “C” class devices to get the lowest possible price.
