Allegro has a broad family of current sensor ICs in the product portfolio, and all are available through DigiKey. Devices like the ACS37002 in the SOIC16 wide-body package can deliver up to 4800 VRMS isolation in a surface-mount package. Despite the high current and high voltage operation, it remains very accurate along the whole temperature range of -40 to +150°C, with 1% maximum sensitivity error. It provides low power consumption (0.27 mΩ internal conductor resistance for MC package), fast response (1 μs typical overcurrent response time), and high configurability (gain selectivity, VREF, and overcurrent are all pin-determined by the user). The ACS37002 also has a digital overcurrent fault output whose trip-point is user-programmable. Allegro plays in a wide variety of applications from data centers, telecommunications, power infrastructures, and automotive.
