In summary, Vishay BC components VY-Series, X and Y capacitors meet the X1, Y1 and Y2 requirements called out by IEC 60384-14.3 and are available with three different ceramic types (N750, Y5S and Y5U). With capacitance values ranging from 10 pF to 10 nF for the  VY2 series and from 10 pF to 4.7 nF  for the VY1 series. Both the VY1 and VY2 series comply with IEC 60384-14.3, both are RoHS compliant, and both are Halogen-free.
