Physical software on analog circuit simulations is now in the mature phase and available for PTCEL. Vishay has principally chosen LTspice® to represent models in two ways: one type without temperature visualizing based on the SPICE of Berkeley, and another type with temperature visualizing based more on arbitrary behavior. Presented here is a similar application, as shown on the preceding slide, simulated in LTspice with the temperature visualizing models. As a remark, in some cases LTspice requires a bit more ingenuity to simulate the same features than the more general software; thus, the addition of the PTC disconnection circuit. Once the circuit is ready and the directives have been completed, the transient simulation can begin. The results of the simulation execution are displayed on the next slide.
