Shown here is some of the standard models of the EPU-3311 Osprey that are stocked at DigiKey. There are three different processor options; quad-core, dual-core, and single-core. Available in full industrial temperature (-40º to +85ºC) versions, the rugged Osprey board meets MIL-STD-202G specifications for mechanical shock and vibration. A heat plate is standard on all models of the Osprey. There are several thermal options for Osprey including a passive heatsink, a fan to mount on the Heat Sink, and a Heat Pipe mounting adapter. Also available is a secondary mounting plate that allows the Osprey to easily mount from the top or bottom of the module.  Latching Ethernet connectors provide additional ruggedization for use in extremely harsh environments. Transient voltage suppression (TVS) devices on critical I/O ports provide enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for the system. Also available from DigiKey are common accessories to enable system development: Power supplies, cable kits, hard drives, Solid State Devices, and a number of expansion boards and mini PCIe expansion modules.
