The Tetra platform provides multiple options for removable rugged flash for operating system and applications. The default removable flash storage is provided via a microSD card socket. Different models of the Tetra include an on-board Mini Card socket with latching SATA connector port, or an mSATA socket. As mentioned on slide three, the optional MRAM can be used as fast access RAM memory, as parameter, or for program storage. The Tetra's wide input voltage range (8 to 17 V) simplifies system power supply requirements. It is fully compatible with typical automotive (nominal 12 V) power systems.
