All of Toshiba’s ESD protection diodes meet a minimum of the IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 specification. At this spec, an ESD diode must be able to reliably withstand 8kV pulses without damage. Several of Toshiba’s parts are specified at higher contact discharge ratings than 8kV, which is superior to the tolerance levels as dictated by IEC 61000-4-2.
